View ProfileAbout Me: I am a double certified permanent makeup artist and have been practicing for 17 years, I call my business “Painted Lady Pigments.” I love makeup and how it can enhance our natural beauty! However, I do not like to have to apply it daily. I prefer the “I woke up beautiful look” which is a more fresh and natural look. I do not like to have to draw my brows on and try to make them match daily, I do not like to mess around with lipsticks, I also hate coating black mascara on my lashes for definition and I think most anyone would agree. So permanent make up is where I come into play. My favorite thing to do is called a “Powder Brow” also known as “microshading.” This technique can be used on all skin types and creates a soft pixelated look simulating the appearance of a soft powder filled brow. Microshading can also be used on the lips, I call this “lip Blush” which is a permanent lip tint that provides a natural looking tint of color for that “just bitten look”. Another cool thing I’m doing is called “freckling.” This is semi-permanent freckles on the face. They look super fresh! I also offer eyelash extensions to complete the fresh face look. These last for up to 3 weeks and change the makeup game. Since I have started wearing them myself I barely use conventional makeup at all! I love to create brows, lips and lashes on others and share this joy of freedom from daily makeup applications which has absolutely changed my world. [read more]

View ProfileI’m not your typical provider. That’s a good thing. My vision Welcome to Storyguide Mental Health, a sanctuary where your narrative is not only acknowledged, but deeply respected. I understand that embarking on this journey might have taken a substantial amount of effort and courage. Whether you found your way here independently or were guided by a caring person in your life, acknowledging the need for assistance is often the bravest and most challenging step. My name is John, a seasoned professional who has devoted over two decades to the field of Emergency Medicine, where I was privileged to witness the resilience of the human spirit in times of immense crisis. Throughout my tenure, I discovered the profound fulfillment that comes from being a compassionate listener and guide during people’s moments of vulnerability, helping them navigate through their personal stories of trials, triumphs, and transformations. As I transition into this ensuing phase of my career, I extend an invitation to you to embark on a holistic and integrative journey towards mental wellness. Drawing inspiration from Viktor Frankl’s profound development of logotherapy, I firmly believe in the transformative power of finding purpose and meaning in every chapter of one’s life. In my role as your mental wellness guide, I am committed to partnering with you to sculpt the healthiest version of your narrative, where every facet of your life and history is given the attention and respect it deserves. Together, we will venture beyond surface symptoms, seeking to uncover and address the root causes of your challenges, intertwining therapy with recommendations encompassing various spheres of your life: sleep, diet, exercise, and belief patterns you may hold. Your individualized care plan will be evidence-based and cost-effective, shaped with your invaluable input and consent. I highly advocate the inclusion of a support person - a family member or close friend - in your journey to amplify the prospects of your success. Rest assured, if you’re navigating this path solo, we will work diligently to build a supportive framework around you. As we collaborate to craft your personalized roadmap to mental wellness, potentially incorporating supplements, therapy, diet recommendations, and prescription medication where necessary, my approach will always echo the ethos of “starting low and going slow.” I am here to facilitate a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued, leaving each appointment with a clear and reasonable action plan and time frame. “…everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms- to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” — Viktor E. Frankl My personal side I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 22 years and am the proud parent of three children, two of which are in college and a high school senior. In addition to mental health I have an aesthetics practice called True Aesthetics Colorado. In my recreation time I enjoy reading, bike riding, hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, and traveling across the world with my wife. I consider myself a life long learner and continually educate myself for personal and professional pursuits. Recently I have practiced the art of bee keeping and hope to renew my hobby of beer brewing. You can often find us exploring Colorado’s craft beer, coffee, and spirit scene. [read more]
View ProfileWaaay back when...I transferred colleges to go to school and be in the same town as my long-distance boyfriend to see if we still liked each other when we lived daily in the same town. In my first semester in Colorado, I took 3 classes: American History, Volleyball, and Floral design. (You can imagine the call from my parents when they saw my course load). Turns out, that floral class turned into a job, that turned into a passion, that turned into a business. And that boyfriend turned into a fiancé, that turned into a husband, that turned out to be the best life partner and daddy to our three children. I am a mama (through the blessing of adoption) to three of the best humans God ever made. Adoption has long been a passion of mine, even before discovering an inability to conceive biologically. Both adoption and a multi-colored world (in language, culture, melanin, and in the world of flowers) has been woven into my DNA for as long as I can remember. I spent time working in flower shops and taking in courses and classes while helping brides with wedding flowers for many years before launching The Seen Company. I've been a florist mama with babies toddling around flowers and playing with petals. Now, my two oldest children work for The Seen Company and my youngest loves to pick out flowers at the wholesaler that his mama "needs." New England (Maine and Rhode Island) raised me and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee courses through my veins (as is true for any Native New Englander), but Colorado has always been home. The mountains are where my heart lives and mountain weddings are my favorites (check out the gallery for some dreamy mountain wedding flowers)! The Seen Company deeply values helping you see and love your people. Our heart is to help people know they are personally seen, known, valued, and loved. We believe your words and our hand-designed flowers carry the power to bring hope and light to dear ones in a world that can feel disconnected, challenging, and also... many times, awesome! We do our absolute best to promote sustainable floral design whenever possible. We use seasonally locally grown and/or sourced flowers and avoid the use of non-biodegradable plastics floral foam in our designs. What you receive from TSC will always be the best, freshest, and longest-lasting seasonal blooms in custom designs. We love variety and you won't find us repeating the same routine flower recipes over and over. So many days, I can't believe that this is my job and you are my people. Thanks for stopping by! Drop your email in the sign-up box to stay in the know with DIY flower opportunities, flash sales, and when it's warm we take the flower market on the road with the market-to-your door! xo, Brenda DeWalt, Owner and Lead Designer Let kindness and love be the motivation behind all that you do. View ProfileThe founders, Mike Bertles and Lewis Ortiz, weren’t strangers to adversity. Car accidents, once isolated incidents, became catalysts for a profound shift. Instead of succumbing to the pain and trauma, they chose a path less traveled – one of self-discovery and empowerment. Their journey led them to the transformative world of holistic healing, where they discovered the profound impact of chiropractic care, physical therapy, nutrition, and mindfulness. It wasn’t just a physical recovery; it was a complete transformation. Fueled by their own healing and a desire to share its power, Mike and Lewis envisioned a sanctuary – a space where individuals, whether recovering from injuries or simply seeking a healthier life, could find support and guidance. And so, The Stillwater Wellness Center was born. Here, within these walls, hope finds a home. Our team of dedicated professionals, each a master in their craft, embraces a holistic approach. We believe in weaving together the threads of physical therapy, chiropractic care, nutritional guidance, and mental wellness practices to create a personalized tapestry of well-being for each individual. But Stillwater is more than just treatments; it’s a community. We foster a network of support, where shared stories and experiences forge connections and empower each other. In this tapestry of shared vulnerability, you’ll find the strength to not just recover, but to thrive. [read more]
